The Diamond A Ranch outside Seligman, Arizona is the largest cattle ranch in the Southwest. I’m grateful to have visited there twice, but also to call a few of the cowboys friends. Aside from covering 750,000 acres, the thing that makes the Diamond A truly unique is having Cataract Canyon as it’s northern boundary - an offshoot to one of Planet Earth’s greatest wonders; The Grand Canyon. Iconic on it’s own, but also a great symbol of the American West. Scenes like this are humbling to say the least. They make you stop and think. On that particular day, taking in such a jaw dropping sunrise, I was struck with gratitude just to be there, and wondered how many humans will ever step foot on that piece of the planet? Diamond A cowboys have the distinct luxury to take in this view whenever they please.
