Doug Cox is a master saddle maker in Nevada. Really he’s an artist whose chosen medium is leather. Over a 50+ year career Cox has created custom saddles for people from all walks of life - working buckaroos to your weekend warriors that know the value of a good seat. Cox also creates for himself. He’s got a chronic itch that can only be scratched by making the next saddle better than his last. Here you see a beautiful Western saddle that harkens back to a time when cowboys rode the open range with their Winchester rifles out of necessity.
