When it comes to outdoor gear, Triple Aught Design (TAD) stands out as a brand that seamlessly merges utility, durability, and sleek aesthetics. Their products are designed for adventurers, by adventurers—a promise that resonates deeply with those who demand gear that performs under real-world conditions. To showcase this ethos, we embarked on an outdoor photoshoot that not only highlighted the design and functionality of TAD gear but also celebrated the spirit of exploration that defines their community.
Our first step was selecting a location that would reflect the rugged versatility of TAD gear. After much deliberation, we chose Gold Hill, Colorado, a unique remote alpine region with a mix of dense forests, rocky outcroppings, and old textured buildings. This terrain offered the ideal backdrop to demonstrate the adaptability of TAD’s apparel—from their breathable field shirts to their weather-resistant softshells. During a photoshoot for an outdoor apparel company I always dream for harsh weather. At the very least I pray for anything but a bald blue sky with harsh sunlight. And on this day we were gifted with classic mountain weather that changed by the minute. The cold temperatures added to the scene which was capped off with the occasional dense layers of fog that added an incredible element to the photographs.

With this photoshoot, we aimed to honor the spirit of Triple Aught Design and their commitment to creating gear that’s as bold as the adventures it’s made for.
